Word on the street is... the long anticipated love scene filmed for The Crocodile Hunter's recent box office release, was scrapped at the last minute, in order to achieve its desired PG rating. According to an audio engineer from Atlanta, who was involved in the project and prefers to remain anonymous, the lost scene went something like this...

Steve - "Careful mate, she's a BEUUU-Tiful specimen, and I think she's in heat. Don't try this at home, I'm a trained professional, but I'm going to sneak up behind her and get me a sniff of her rear to see if she's ready.

Terri - "What Steve means is, since I've been working out for our big screen debut, he just can't wait to get his hands on some of my firm booty."

Steve - "WHOAHHH, she seems a little bit grumpy, mate! And look at the way she's raising her bum up in the air, and puffing up her chest! I get chills on me arms and legs just thinking about taming this croc. It's goin' to be a fierce battle of endurance. Man against beast. Watch me now, bloke, as I go in for the capture. Careful now."

Terri - "Steve, this isn't in the script. Ooooh..."

Steve - "Notice how I pin her down with my knees, and restrain her arms, so I can more carefully inspect her mid section. It takes a lot of skills and practice to do this, don't try it at home. And I don't want to hurt the beaut... it's a gentle but commanding touch I'm after here. Yeah mate, she's nice and firm and ready... moist as a baby tree frog. Now that she's calmed down a bit mate, and she doesn't seem so grumpy any more, it's time to introduce her natural predator... the 8 inch Spitting Australian Helmet Snake. He's a highly potent specimen. Watch your eyes, mate."

Terri - "Oooh, how's mamma's little snakie pooh. You've been a grumpy little snake. Now what I'm going to do here is pinch him by his big threatening hood, and milk his venom for research. Normally, Steve would do this job, but today I'm going to help him out."

Steve - "Notice how careful she is as she takes control of the snake's head. And look at the snake, he's puffed himself up to make him appear more threatening to his attacker. A BeaUU-tiful and natural tactic. Now Terri's going to collect that venom in the sides of her mouth, a lot like an Australian flying squirrel stores it's nuts in its cheeks. Then she'll swallow it for safe keeping, and regurgitate it later in the lab. Careful though, It's not unlikely that this species sometimes gives a little bite or two, they can be quite unpredictable, so I've got to be very alert to her every move. Boy she's a beaut. I wish I had me camera, so I could snap a photo for the blokes back at the zoo. Crikies! This is amazing. I've got me hair raised all over me arms, mate!"

Terri - "Now watch as the snake descends deep into it's prey's den and goes for the kill. This behavioral pattern will last about 6 or 7 minutes before the snake returns to it's normal size, and retreats into it's lair.

Steve - "Wow, that was fantastic, mate. I sure am glad this specimen's not like the Bird Spider or Black Widow. Crikies!!! They bite the head off of their mates, and have them for an outback meal. Now there's a cruel fact of nature!

This scene was to fit in the movie right after the scene where they rescue the baby kangaroo and Terri wraps it up in her shirt., exposing her cleavage. But, unfortunately, it ended up on the cutting room floor (or the director's personal VCR). Rumor has it, that if viewer response is great enough, there may be a director's cut released on DVD sometime in the Fall of 2003. So please email us with your support. America is counting on you.
