Bush's "Blame Game" Unbeaten Streak in Peril
U.S. Daniels
09/07/2005

President Bush's top advisors have decided to blame the media and liberals for playing the "blame game" during their public relations nightmare known as hurricane Katrina. The administration, after first joining the game last weekend by using lies to blame local officials, now wants to postpone the game until the President can head a special "Katrina Blame Commission" so that he can place blame wherever he deems it necessary.

To most blame game experts the move to head the Katrina Blame Commission looks like a desperate attempt by Bush to keep his undefeated blame game streak intact. Bush is best known for having never accepted blame. In fact, his mastery of the game often allows him to deny playing it, even when right in the middle of a match.

Bush's favorite offensive method, the "personal attack," is almost never used by the President himself but by his flankers who have proven time and again to be the quickest team to a hasty generalization.

His defensive team, made up almost entirely of straw men, is among the best in the world and many assume the entire lot of straw men will be voted into the Blame Game Hall of Fame at their first eligibility. If they are not, Bush says the mainstream media will be to blame.
